Most letting agents, if asked, would say and possibly brag that they are always growing their portfolio. Quantity over quality. But at Iles and Jenkin, we are bit different. We’d rather have fewer properties managed to a higher standard, than a huge portfolio of homes that don’t meet the mark.

When we take on a property, we’re not just handing over keys and hoping for the best. We’re matching people with homes - and that comes with responsibility. That’s why we have standards for both properties and landlords:

• The Property: We look for homes that are safe, well-maintained, and somewhere tenants will genuinely enjoy living. If a property needs some TLC before it can be rented, we’ll say so. And if it’s not up to scratch, we’ll politely say no.
• The Landlord: We also care about who we work with. Great landlords are those who are proactive, fair, and care about their tenants. If a landlord’s approach doesn’t align with our values, we won’t take the business on. Simple as that. We want to ensure that we are working with the very best Landlords with the very best properties.
